Money Management

Bets implies risks. How much money should you risk?

Money Management

Money Management implies two things, both are related: The first thing is how much money you are interested in risk and depending on how much you want to risk you can define your minimum bet.

Most of the strategies the minimum bet is 1% of the Bankroll, but this number depends on how aggressive you play and how many levels far you want to go with your strategy.

For example if you play Martingale, and want to play min Bet 10 dollars and go 11 levels of betting, means 10 lost in a row, your 11 bet will be 10,240 dollars but to reach here you will need a Bankroll of 20,470 dollars.

If you are doing Fibonacci, and you are playing 5 dollars your minimum bet, you will need 500 dollars and 2,500 for your total bankroll. The idea of Fibonacci is to get two wins in a row or one win, one lost and one win. With that combination of results you can get your money back.

If you are doing D’Alembert and bet 1 Dollar minimum bet, and you lose 10 times in a row you will need 66 Dollars to reach that level and have those 11 extra Dollars to make the next Bet.

In summary, it depends on how aggressive the strategy you want to play and how many levels of your betting system you want to reach.
